I contextualize. Then, I reconstruct it. I have the desire to create content based on the inner workings of my life and produce an adaptation to form a connection with the audience.

The films I love most present the audience with a fantasied depiction of real-life issues and that’s what I wish to do. Movies for me aren’t entirely make-believe creations, they’re seeds of truth that every writer, director, and actor has a connection with. You can imitate and create a falsified emotion, but the relationship one feels when their work has history is what I wish to be a part of. The art of storytelling is a big part of my life; it’s a way to look inside myself and process what I’m going through; and I want to make films that help people do the same.
